PURPOSE: To provide a device which automatically and continuously feeds a new plate material, to a plate cylinder of a lithographic printing device. CONSTITUTION: A cassette 100 includes a plate material feeding mandrel 105 and a gear 115 which are combined with the shaft of a ratchet 66, and a plate material up-take mandrel 110 which is engaged with the shaft. When a claw 60 is separated from the ratchet 66, the feeding mandrel 105 becomes rotatable, and a new plate material is distributed. The cassette 100 is introduced into the plate cylinder 12, and the plate material from the feeding mandrel 105 appears from a space between the top section of the cassette 100 and the wall of the plate cylinder 12, winds around the plate cylinder 12, and reenters the main body of the plate cylinder 12 through a space on the opposite side on the up-take mandrel 110. |
