PURPOSE:To provide a proper heating of flanges by a method wherein in case of flowing of warming steam through insertion holes for fastening bolts for use in fastening flanges of upper and lower casings, the temperature of the warming steam is properly controlled by a steam mixer on the basis of the sensed temperature at the flanges. CONSTITUTION:A casing is made such that the upper and lower casing flanges 2a and 2b are fastened by a plurality of fastening bolts, an insertion hole 4 for each of the fastening bolts is communicated with a steam feeding hole 3, warming steam is flowed into the insertion hole 4 to heat each of the flanges 2a and 2b. In this case, the temperature of each of the flanges 2a and 2b is sensed when the turbine is started, a warming steam temperature is defined by a control device 15. A degree of opening of electric valves 9 and 10 is adjusted to produce the most appropriate warming steam and then the steam is fed into the steam feeding hole 3. Each of the electric valves 10 and 9 for low and hot steam lines 8 and 1 is operated so as to maintain each of the proper inner and outer surface temperatures at each of the flanges 2a and 2b. |
