PURPOSE:To cut down the cost of construction work as well as to prevent the discharge of excavated soil and a solidifying liquid by a method in which a consolidator is provided above an excavator provided to the lower end of an excavation shaft and a jet port for solidifying liquid and a stirrer are provided to the excavation shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a pit 3 is excavated in the ground 7 by an excavator 2 while turning an excavation shaft 1, a consolidator 4 goes down while turning and the wall of the pit 3 is consolidated. While pulling up the excavation shaft 1, a solidifying liquid is jetted from a jet port provided in the excavation shaft 1 or a bit 10 and mixed with excavated soil by a stirrer 9 to form a columnar body. Columnar bodies are orderly formed in a lapped manner to construct a continuous underground wall. Since excavated soil can be mixed with the solidifying liquid completely in the pit, the discharge of the mixed soil up to the ground's surface can be avoided, the construction cost can be reduced, and the occurrence of environmental pollution can be prevented.
