MEMORY MANAGEMENT METHOD IN EXCHANGES

摘要

The method provides the memory management which is for flow control of the packet switching. The packet switching unit consists of a memory buffer block, an user memory(2), a X.25 chip executor(4), a packet memory(3), and a central processing unit(1). The memory buffer block is used for holding packet to send and receive it. The user memories have source program block that process the packet. The X.25 chip executor connects to the subscriber. The packet memory saves the packets in a short time to process them in real-time. The CPU controls the overall function of packet switching. Every block is connected to the bus(data bus, address bus and control bus).
