The filter comprises at least two pairs of two-terminal paralle-coupled lines disposed consectively in a step form. The widths of pair of parallel coupled lines are alternately in creased and decreased, and the pair of lines are set to be different from one another. The characteristic impedances of the central pair of two-terminal parallel-coupled lines are set to be the same so that an arrangement of the parallel lines is symmetrical at the center of the filter. Also the lines comprises microstrip lines provided upon a substrate.
