PURPOSE:To obtain a heat exchanger which is easily manufactured and has a high heat exchange efficiency by impregnating one-ends of respective heat exchange elements other ends of which are alternately superimposed on each other in a resin in a molten state, and cutting off the resin adhering to said elements with a level difference in the range thereof. CONSTITUTION:One end of each of heat exchange elements 1 other ends of which are alternately superimposed on each other is impregnated in a vessel 4 accommodating therein a resin 5 in a molten state. As a result, the resin adheres up to a line (a) at the end portion of the heat exchange element 1 depending on the difference in the sectional area. The resin adheres to portions other than the end portions to line (b), and a level difference L is produced. In a line (c) within the range of the level difference L, the end portion of the heat exchange element 1 and the resin adhering and solidifying are cut off in a line (c) within the range of the level difference L. As a result, the end of spatial parts 3 are blocked and respective spacers 2 holding the interval are formed at a time. Further, the parallel flowpath 1a of the heat exchange element 1 is once blocked by the resin 5, and is opened by the cutting off. Thus, the manufacture of the heat exchanger is extremely facilitated.
