PURPOSE:To lower the complicated skew forming process and to reduce the cogging torque and torque ripple by deviating the opposing area of the polar teeth in every polar tooth on the stator side and the moving piece side. CONSTITUTION:The pitch of the pole 1a formed at the tip of a pole 11 of the stator is made to be slightly deviated from that of the pole 2a of a rotor 2. In other words, the pitch of the pole teeth 1a is e.g. 1.125 times as much as that of the reference pole teeth. On this account, in the location where the center of the pole 11 is adjusted to meet the center of a certain pole tooth 2a, each pole tooth 1a is situated with deviation by 45 deg. from a pole tooth 1a. Each pole tooth 1a at both ends of the pole 11 has got a phase difference of 90 deg. against the pole teeth 2a of the rotor 2. The more the pole teeth 1a approach both ends, the more decreases the opposing area of the pole teeth 1a against the pole teeth 2a.
