PURPOSE:To produce an output to a higher-level computer, by a method wherein a measuring input signal from a plurality of sensors is converted into a consolidate signal of a specified level, which undergoes a specified arithmetic processing and outputs the results to the outside to facilitate the measurement of a plurality of measured values. CONSTITUTION:A converter section 11 is provided with a temperature sensor 1a or the like and the results thereof are converted into a consolidate signal of a specified level with respective amplifiers A1 or the like. A converter section 12 is provided with a temperature sensor 1d or the like and the results thereof are converted into a consolidate signal of a specified level with respective amplifiers A4 or the like. An operational section 2 selects and switches input signals from the converter sections 11 and 12 at an input switch gear 21 and converts them into a digital signal at an A/D converter 22. A computing means 23 performs a specified computation such as linearlizing computation and the results are stored into a memory 24 as measurement data. The data are transmitted to a higher-level computer 3 through a communication means 26 as required.
