<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small pump that is able to do self-priming even if a flow rate is increased, in this small pump having used both magneto and electrostrictive elements as a solid driving element. CONSTITUTION:A valve is made lighter in weight in use of two platelike valve elements 50 and 60 with tapered projecting parts 50a and 60a on one side as the valve element of a check valve, while this valve element is favorably followed in motion of a liquid, smoothing its opening or closing. Two tapered recess parts 51a and 61a to guide the projecting parts 50a and 60a of the valve elements 50 and 60 are formed in two retainers 49 and 59 regulating a gap (h) between the valve element 50, 60 and two valve seats 48, 58. With this constitution, contact and friction between the valve elements 50, 60 and the retainers 49, 59 are reduced, smoothing the opening or closing both these valve elements 50 and 60. In addition, both ringlike or sheetlike elastic members 52 and 62 are installed on each bottom of the tapered recess parts 51a and 61a and thereby responsiveness in the closing direction of the valve element is made so better in terms of sensitivity.</p> |
