<p>PURPOSE:To improve a combustion efficiency and to enable a stable stable temperature control to be carried out in a heat generating device having a heat source of a combustion heat generated by igniting gas fuel or liquid fuel to be used in iron, steamer, cooking device and coffee maker and the like. CONSTITUTION:An upstream end of a combustion chamber 5 for igniting mixture gas of fuel gas and air under an action of catalyst has substantial parallel fins 7 in a direction of flow of the mixture gas, and a catalyst layer 8 is arranged to cover the inner wall surface of the upstream side of the combustion chamber 5 as well as the surfaces of the fins. Then, the catalyst layer 8 at the downstream end in the combustion chamber 5 is formed with the clearance between it and the inner wall surface of the combustion chamber 5, and the catalyst layer 8 at the downstream part is thermally insulated against the wall surfaces of the combustion chamber 5.</p> |
