PURPOSE:To make respective parts of a roll uniform in temperature by arranging a pipe or round rod type material which has higher heat conductivity than soft steel inside a core body. CONSTITUTION:A coupling layer 3, an insulating layer 4, a resistance layer 5, a surface insulating layer 8, etc., are provided successively on the outer surface of a core body 2 which is formed in a hollow cylinder shape and bearing members which engage bearings are fitted to both end parts to form a heat roll for electrophotography, and the pipe or round rod made of the material with high heat conductivity such as aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, and copper alloy is arranged inside the core body 2. Consequently, the insulating film, resistance film, etc., are prevented from being peeled off. Further, the temperature is uniformed because the material with the high heat conductivity is provided inside.
