PURPOSE:To shorten a measuring time in spite of a very small amount of a specimen to be examined, to simplify operation and to effectively and immunologically detect the trace component in blood, by immersing a microporous film in a liquid having an antigen or antibody dissolved therein at arbitrary concn. and using the impregnated film as a reagent. CONSTITUTION:An arbitrary microporous film is immersed in a liquid having an antibody or antigen dissolved therein at arbitrary concn. and subsequently washed and dried at room temp. or less. When a constant very small amount of a specimen to be examined is added to the film, antigen-antibody reaction is generated and this immunoreaction generates the sedimentation area and moving distance corresponding to the concn. of the antigen or antibody to be measured. When the area of the film is limited, the sedimentation area corresponding to concn. is generated. Therefore, the quantity of the specimen to be examined may be minute and a measuring time is shortened and the immunological detection of the trace component in blood can be made effectively by a simple operation.
