NEW MATERIAL:A phosphobetaine comprising a 2-(trialkylammonio)ethyl phosphate shown by formula I (R' is 10-18C alkyl; R'' and R''' are 1-6C alkyl). EXAMPLE:2-(Dimethyldodecylammonio)ethyl phosphate. USE:Applicable to a base of drug, an emulsifying agent of cosmetic, coating, ink, etc., solubilizer, dispersant, detergent base, thickening agent, etc. and having antimicrobial actions. PREPARATION:A halogenated (2-hydroxyethyl)trialkyammonium shown by formula II (X is halogen) is dissolved in benzene to give 1-40wt.% solution, which is mixed with 1-4mol based on the raw material of phosphorus oxychloride and stirred at room temperature for 2-30h. Then, the solvent is distilled away from the reaction solution and stirred by using water as a solvent at room temperature for 2-10h. After the reaction, the reaction solution is adjusted to pH 6 with a base, then water is distilled away and the resulting substance is desalted. |
