PURPOSE:To enable a pressure loss and noise to be reduced by a method wherein ring-like louvers arranged at an air blowing port, a conical partition wall arranged at a lower part of the blowing port and an air agitating blower arranged at a lower part of the partition wall are provided. CONSTITUTION:Air within a room 4 enters a main body 3 through a suction port 5 of an air conditioner 1, biased by an air blower 6, cooled or heated while flowing through a heat exchanger 7 to become conditioned air. The conditioned air passes through a duct 16, enters a duct box 15, its dynamic pressure component is converted into a static pressure to become a uniform air flow. The air drops within a blowing casing 8, converted into a smooth horizontal flow by a partition wall 10, dispersed in a radial direction, passes from an entire circumference of a blowing port 9 and further passes between the ring-like louvers 11 and blown into a room 4 in a horizontal direction. Conditioned air blown into the room 4 is agitated and mixed with interior air near a ceiling 2 by an air blower 13 to show a temperature which is similar to a room temperature, the air gradually descends and is dispersed in the room 4. |
