<p>The macroporous carrier material of the particulate immobilized lipase preparation is on silica or silicate basis and exhibits a pore diameter which is between 5 and 45 times the diameter of the lipase molecule. The lipase preparation is cheap and can exhibit a high specific activity. It can be produced by contact between the carrier material and an aqueous solution of the lipase. The lipase preparation can be used for interesterification of fats, hydrolysis of fats and synthesis of fats.</p> |
