The field emission display unit has improved resolution and luminosity by installing barium getters. The unit consists of a transparent anode conductive film(1) and a cathode conductive film(3), a micro-tip(5), a fluorescent film(7), glasses(9,13), a grid(25), and an envelope(27). A barium getter(15) and barium covered materials(21) with a holder(23) are installed around a channel(11) of a glass(9).
