PURPOSE:To allow a continuous work for connecting wires by providing an insulator press-fitting part on signal wire contacts, housing and holding a plurality of signal wire contacts within the contact retaining part of a shielding external cylinder member via an insulator and locating the signal wire press-fitting part of the signal wire contacts in jig insertion holes. CONSTITUTION:A shielding external cylinder member 3 is provided with a contact retaining part 6, a shield press fitting part 7 for a shield cable and a shield retaining part 8 for the shield cable. In addition, jig insection holes 10 and 11 are so provided as to oppose the standing directions of the solderless pieces 12 and 13 of the contact retaining part 6. Also, a signal wire contact 5 is provided with an insulator press-fitting part 16 having a solderless piece 18 for press fitting a contact body and the signal wire of the shield cable, and a plurality of signal wire contacts 5 are housed and retained within the contact retaining part 6 of the shielding external cylinder member 3 via an insulator 4. In addition, the signal wire press fitting part 15 of the signal wire contact 5 is located within jig insertion holes 10 and 11. According to the aforesaid construction, it becomes possible to perform a continuous work for connecting many wires. |
