PURPOSE:To continuously use a director part by again bonding the same to a living body without stopping the operation on the side of a main body even when the director part is detached from the living body during treatment by mounting a means detecting whether a pulse transmission means is bonded to a living body and a control means to the director part. CONSTITUTION:When either one of directors 200c, 200d peels off from a human body on the way of low frequency treatment, the signal e1 or e2 outputted from a skin detection circuit 7 attains an H-level and a microcomputer 40 interrupts treatment operation to show an 'READY' state and stops the output of drive pulses d21, d22. When the detached director is again bonded to a human body after either one of the directors or both of the directors is detached from the human body, the signals e1, e2 of the circuit 7 attain an L-level to perform soft start. That is, the chopping time of a drive pulse d1 is added and the number of pulses d1 are increased by a predetermined number and a pulse is outputted to an active switching circuit and treatment is continued when the output time of the pulse d1 becomes a predetermined time or more.
