PURPOSE:To ensure that the transfer of the second and following colors is not influenced even on a transfer sheet and an ink by specifying the fusion heat of ink in a color thermal transfer recording material used for a color thermal transfer recording device which records an image by transfer of at least, two or more different color inks. CONSTITUTION:A color thermal transfer recording material is used for a color thermal transfer recording device which records an image by transfer of at least, two or more different inks. The fusion heat of ink is 120mj/mg or lower. Any conventionally known film or sheet is used as a base material 12. In addition, an ink layer 11 is composed of a coloring material such as pigment or dye, resin and wax as a binder, all of these components being mixed and dispersed. It is recommended that especially, resins or waxes with fusion heat at low temperature be selected. For example, these materials are copolymers of alpha-olefin anhydrous maleic acid, EVA resin, polyethylene resin, montan wax, etc. |
