The invention relates to a tumbler-pin lock (1) of the type comprising tumbler pin (7)/driver (9, 9') pairs subjected to a return (spring) action (10) towards the inside of the plug (3), the said tumbler pins (7) each belonging to a set of n tumbler pins of different lengths varying with respect to each other by a pitch p or by a multiple of this pitch p, this pitch being equal to the pitch of variation of the bittings (notches) (7) of a coded key (6).
