<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image rotation processing method and device therefor which can perform the fast real-time processing. CONSTITUTION: The increments of (x) and (y) corresponding to a rotational angleθare interatively added together while a 1st memory storing an original image of a size of (M (row direction) pixels×N (column direction) pixels) is sequentially scanned. Thus, the coordinates (x', y') of a 2nd memory storing a rotated image are acquired and the pixel data on the (x, y) coordinate value of the 2nd memory corresponding to the (x', y') coordinate value in one to one are transmitted, so that an image is obtained by rotating the original image at the angleθ. In such a constitution of an image rotation processing method/ device, a rotated image is obtained at a high speed only by addition with no multiplication needed. Furthermore, an image rotation processor can consist of only an adder with no floating point multiplier needed. Thus, the circuit constitution is simplified and the cost is reduced.</p> |
