There are provided N-oxy- and thioalkylcarbonyloxyalkylpyrrole compounds of formula (I), where particular substituents are as disclosed in the Description, and their use for the control of insects, acarina and mollusks. Further provided are compositions and methods comprising those compounds for the protection of plants from attack by insects, acarina and mollusks.
