PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester composition excellent in dispersion, by a method wherein in a kneading machine provided with a vent hole, inert gas is added to polyester containing particles in a molten state. CONSTITUTION:Polyester containing particles which is obtained by allowing the polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate to contain an inorganic particles or an organic particles such as titanium oxide or a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer is supplied to a kneading machine provided with a vent hole in a solidified state such as a chip or a molten state and made into a molten state directly before addition of the inert gas. Then, the polyester prepared by continuous polymerization may be supplied to the kneading machine provided with the vent hole as it is in the molten state. The partiles are supplied under a state of powder or slurry or a master polymer. Then, it is necessary that the inert gas is added in the kneading machine provide with the vent hole. Hereby, dispersion of the particles agglomerated firmly becomes possible. Then shearing heating becomes low and a fall of intrinsic viscosity and a color tone are almost eliminated. |
