<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of the delivery timing in switching the carriage port where a sorter of the carriage moving type is provided with a plurality of delivery ports to the carriage. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of carrying passages (11, 12) from an output device to carriages (2, 4) are provided, and at the same time, the sheets continuously outputted from a sheet outputting device according to the position of the bin which is the carrying target of the carriage are carried by switching the carrying passage, and delivered to the carriage. The working time from the time when the carriage carries the sheet before the carrying passage is switched from one of the outlet of the carrying passage (13 or 15) to the specified position during the switching operation of the carrying passages, and to the time when the following sheet is moved from the other outlet of the carrying passage (1 5 or 13) to the receiving position is set to be smaller than the time the tip of the following sheet reaches the other outlet of the carrying passage after switching the carrying passage after the tip of the previous sheet before switching the carrying passage reaches one of the outlet of the carrying passages.</p> |
