<p>PURPOSE:To prevent equipment from being corroded by removing chlorine from a melt of waste plastics by blowing nitrogen gas into the melt in the mixing tank. CONSTITUTION:The removal process comprises feeding general waste plastics from a waste plastic reservoir 1 to an extruder 2 at a constant rate in equipment for liquefying the general waste plastics, fully melting the raw material subjected to primary melting in a mixing tank 3, blowing a nitrogen gas at a rate of about 5Nm<3>/m<3> of the melt into the melt to accelerate the uniforming of its temperature and the removal of hydrogen chloride form it, heat- decomposing the melt in a heat decomposition tank 4, feeding the generated vapor of heat decomposition to the downstream catalytic cracking tank 5, bringing the vapor into contact with the contained zeolite catalyst layer to convert it into a vapor of a mixture of a high-boiling oil and a low-boiling oil, condensing this vapor in a cooler 6 and a receiver 7 to obtain a good low- boiling hydrocarbon oil not contaminated with hydrogen chloride, and storing the formed oil in a tank 8.</p> |
