PURPOSE:To prevent inconvenience from occurring because carrier is attached on an image carrier. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device having a developing device provided with a developing roller and a carrier recovery roller, a toner image obtained by developing an electrostatic latent image is formed by rotating the developing roller a prescribed time (t2) (referring to a figure (B) after the electrostatic latent image is started to be formed on a photoreceptor drum by actuating an exposure device (referring to a figure (A)). Besides, it is judged based on the action timing of the exposure device whether the carrier recovery roller is made to correspond to an inter-image part on the photoreceptor drum where the toner image is not formed or not (referring to a figure (C)). When the carrier recovery roller is made to correspond to the inter-image part, it is rotated (referring to a figure (D)). Thus, the image is prevented from being disordered caused by the carrier attached on the photoreceptor drum and attracted by the carrier recovery roller. |
