<p>PURPOSE: To provide a compact paper feeding device with a small number of part items by giving initial torque to a partially toothless gear through a rotational cam to separate a placing base from a paper feeding roller by force of an energizing spring to energize the placing base toward the paper feeding roller. CONSTITUTION: When an electric powder source is switched on, a driving gear 26 is constantly rotated. An energizing gear 16 revolutionally energizes a rotational cam 17 upward through a regulating plate 7a of a link 7, energizes a transmission gear 19 in the B direction and energizes a partially toothless gear 27 in the A direction through a driven gear 21. However, the partially toothless gear 27 is not rotated as its toothless part faces against a driving tooth 26. An actuator 23 is temporarily switched on by a printing command, an engagement click piece 24 is removed from an engagement step part 22a, a tooth part of the partially toothless gear 27 and the driving tooth 26 are engaged with each other, a paper feeding roller 3 is also rotated by one round in the A direction, and the transmission gear 19 and the rotational cam 17 are rotated in the B direction by the driven gear 21. A first placing base 5 is revolved around a sliding shaft 12 as its center by an energizing spring 16 and the link 7, a sheet surface and the paper feeding roller 3 make contact with each other and a sheet of paper is fed.</p> |
