PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration gyro which can obtain a stable detection sensitivity, and which can be inexpensive and small-sized. SOLUTION: A vibration gyro comprises a shell vibration body 2 made of piezoelectric materials, and at least three independent electrodes 2a, 2b, 2c formed in the outer or inner peripheral surface of the vibration body 1. These three electrodes 2a to 2c are used for driving, and two of them are used for detecting an angular speed. Alternatively, the three electrodes 2a to 2c are used for driving, and two of them are used for detection of an angular speed and for feed-back. Alternatively, these three electrodes 2a to 2c are used for driving, and two of them are used for detection of an angular speed while the remaining one is used for feed-back. |
