<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the trouble in entire tall collection system by discriminating an optical axis, which is always shielded from light, from plural photoelectric switches and discriminating the type of vehicle passing on a vehicle approach lane based o a detecting signal corresponding to any optical axis excepting for this optical axis which is always shielded from light. SOLUTION: The plural photoelectric switches provided with plural light emitting and light receiving elements 8 and 9 for outputting the plural detecting signals showing the shielding states of respective plural optical axes 10 arranged in the height direction with a vehicle approach lane 7 in-between are installed. Corresponding to the plural detecting signals outputted from these plural photoelectric switches, an always shielded optical axis 16 is chiscriminated out of the plural optical axes 10, the detecting signal corresponding to any optical axis 20 excepting for this always shielded optical axis 16 is outputted by a signal selecting part 13 and based on that detecting signal, the type of vehicle passing on the vehicle approach lane 7 is discriminated by a signal processing part 14. Thus, the trouble in the entire tall collection system can be solved.</p> |
