Keyboard

The keyboard has a number of key housings accommodated in an upper keyboard housing. The under side of the keyboard housing is closed by a baseplate (7), and between them there is switching circuitry with switch elements against which contact elements are pressed. The contact elements are fixed to sprung pressure members arranged in the form of a mat. T he entire keyboard circuitry, together with the switching elements and components of evaluation logic circuitry, is fixed to the inner side of the baseplate. The components of the evaluation logic circuitry, apart from those containing silver conductive lacquer, may be applied to the baseplate by a screen printing process.
