Pocket folding machine

The pocket folding machine (10), with at least one upper (12) and lower (12) folding pocket, has two continuous carrier belts (40,41) moved by a drive, so that they form a holding funnel (42) for the folding sheet opposite the sheet outlet side (17). A deflection drum (31), after the holding funnel (42) in the direction of belt (40,41) movement, applies the pressure on the sheet between the belts (40,41) to clamp it. A deflection roller (32), below the lower folding pocket (13), carries the two belts (40,41) under the pocket (13) and upwards to the lower side of the alignment table (20). Guide rollers (34,37,38) bring the belts (40,41) back to the holding funnel (42) past the lower folding pocket (13) and under it.
