<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data filing method and its device in a process computer precisely recording the data of a process and reducing the recording area of data in logging the behavior of the process. SOLUTION: In a method for filing process data varying a process value with time, the feature point of varying process data, the feature point is set as a start point PS, and a start point upper limit value PH and a start point lower limit value PL are set to the process value Pv0 of this start point. Then, the inclination of a line connecting the process value Pvn varying with the lapse of time after the start point, the value PH and the value PL is successively obtained and a maximum inclination on an upper limit side and a minimum inclination on a lower limit side are stored. A process value Pvm just before the process value Pvn exceeding the range of the maximum inclination on the upper limit side and the minimum inclination on the lower limit side is made a new feature point to make this feature point a start point hereafter and this is successively stored to file process data.</p> |
