METHOD FOR LOADING FIRMWARE AND GUIDING FIRMWARE VERSION IN DEVICE OF SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for loading a firmware in a device of a switching system is to easily change firmware comprised in the device of exchange. And, a method for guiding a firmware version in a device of a switching system is to eliminate the possibility of unnecessary change of the firmware. CONSTITUTION: A firmware loading method of a device of a switching system comprises the steps of: providing a sub processor controlling a device with a firmware stored by a host processor when an operator specifies the device and commands a firmware loading through a man machine communication unit; providing the device with the firmware by the sub processor; and loading the firmware into a memory by the device. A firmware version guiding method in a device of a switching system comprises the steps of: demanding a firmware version for a device of a sub processor controlling the device by a host processor; demanding a firmware of the device by the sub processor, according to the demand of the host processor; informing the sub processor with the firmware version by the device, according to the demand of the sub processor; and displaying the firmware version to a man machine communication unit by the host processor.
