PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a summary map got used to seeing by an end user in a short time. SOLUTION: A map information prioritizing means 6 prioritizes which roads, the railways, and targets to be left on a summary map based on the priorities of the roads, the railways, and the targets for making the summary map specified by the summary specification information. And, a grid map making means 7 makes map information on the grid based on the grid map size and the parameter for summarization specified by the summary specification information. A summary map generation means 8 generates the summary map based on the kind and the decoration specification data specified by the grid map and summary specification information. |
