The box, made from wood or its derivatives, cardboard, plastic, composition or metal, consists of a regular polygonal base (1) and sides (2a) in the form of a series of panels which fold flat against the base in a double strip (2) for storage and transport. One of the panels is attached to the base by hinges (3a), while the others clip onto the base when raised in the deployed position by tongues (4) and grooves or other system, with projections from the panels' lower edges allowing one box to be stacked on another.
