PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the random noises at the transmitting side in a digital data transmission system. SOLUTION: A complementary data generation circuit 13 gives the digital data D1(n) to a 1st output circuit 11 at the prescribed timing and then to a 2nd output circuit 12 by repeating inversion/non-inversion to the data D1(n) between the even-numbered and odd-numbered data. The circuits 11 and 12 have the same constitution and output the main data Da(n) and its corresponding secondary data Db(n) in parallel to each other. The number of changing points is kept constant for the switch timing between both data Da(n) and Db(n).
