PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small sized color electrophotographic device where all operations can be carried out from the front surface and maintenance work is saved. SOLUTION: An image forming unit 21 Bk is loaded on an image forming unit group from a top plate 1C on the top surface of the device in a state where an opening part is directed upward, and guided to an image forming position by being rotated and moved. An intermediate transfer belt unit 2 is inserted into the inside of the device from an opening and closing part 1A in front of the device, guided in an orthogonal direction R to the direction of the movement of a retransfer roll by guide means 61, 62, 63, 64 and set to a specified storing position.
