PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rotary wheelchair usable as a chair for a bathroom capable of being freely rotated in a sit-down posture by supporting a seat surface receiver connecting a leg body to a seat pipe through a thrust bearing in a freely rotatable manner and rotating the seat surface receiver to fit a lock member in the lock hole of a connection member to lock the seat surface receiver. SOLUTION: A leg body 4 is integrally connected to a seat pipe 1 through the seat surface receiver 5 on the upper surface of a connection member 4-2. When a rotary lock device 6 revolves an operation lever 6-7 against a spring 6-6 to raise a lock member 6-5, the lock member 6-5 is separated from a lock hole 6-2 to be brought to an unlocked state. When the seat surface receiver 5 is revolved, the lower end of the lock member 6-5 comes into slide contact with the upper surface of the connection member 4-2 of the leg body 4 and, when the lock member 6-5 is positioned at the part of the lock hole 6-2 bored in the connection member 4-2 on the way of rotation, the lock member 6-5 falls to the lock hole 6-2 automatically by the action of the spring 6-6 to be fitted therein to lock the seat surface receiver 5.
