PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light module that can be incorporated into a final product without applying any operation to a light element, its manufacturing method, and a light-transmitting device. SOLUTION: The light module includes a substrate 40 where a wiring pattern is formed, a platform 10 that is mounted to the substrate 40, an optical fiber 30 that is positioned at the platform 10 for supporting, and a light element 20. The light element 20 has an electrode 24 and an optical part 22 while the optical part 22 is directed toward the end face of the optical fiber 30 and an electrode 24 mounted to the platform 10 is electrically connected to the wiring pattern.
