PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a retainer at a position for regulating slipping of a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: Holding parts 27, 33, capable of holding the retainer 30 at a slipping regulating position by locking each other, are provided in a housing 20 and the retainer 30, and a deflection locking piece 36 for regulating a displacement in a direction dissociating from the terminal fitting 10 of the retainer 30 by being locked by the receiving part 15 of the terminal fitting 10, with the retainer placed at the slipping regulating position being formed on the retainer 30. Since a means for locking the deflection locking piece 36 of the retainer 30 and the receiving part 15 of the terminal fitting 10 is provided as a means to hold the retainer 30 at the slipping regulating position, in addition to a means for locking the housing 20 and the retainer 30 by the holding parts 27, 33, the retainer 30 is held surely at the slipping regulating position by the double-locking means.
