PURPOSE: A sheet manufacturing method and a sheet manufacturing die are provided to enable a process of extruding a molten material from the die and winding it around a cooling roller to be performed at a high speed such as 60m/min or more, thus achieving a sheet having a uniform thickness and a smooth surface. CONSTITUTION: The sheet manufacturing method comprises the steps of: extruding a molten material from a slit formed in a die(4) in the form of a sheet(10); and solidifying the sheet by bringing the sheet into contact with a roller(5). In the extruding step, the sheet is formed such that the end portions thereof in the width direction are 2 to 80 times thicker than the middle portion thereof, and the variation(h) in paths along which different parts of the molten material move from the die to the roller in the width direction is 15 mm or less. |
