PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter capable of being easily and safely inserted into an object position via a blood vessel. SOLUTION: This catheter 10 comprises a tube 11 made of a synthetic resin, a distal end member 12 made of a conductive glass mounted at a distal end of the tube 11, and the like. The member 12 is formed of the glass containing a conductive zinc oxide as a constituent. When the catheter 10 is inserted into the blood vessel, the member 12 is carried on a blood flow in the blood vessel to smoothly advance in the blood vessel by the action of a blood pressure. Accordingly, the catheter can be easily inserted. |
