PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a selective recording of image data, corresponding to suitable object image. SOLUTION: In a digital electronic static camera, an image data holding part 3 holds multiple screenful worth of image data by holding a screenful worth of image data sent from a signal processing part 2 at prescribed intervals of moving images while shifting a screenful worth of image data among more than one buffer 30 to 3m. A control processing part 6 reads out the image data stored in a prescribed buffer among more than one buffer composed by the holding part 3 to supply to a display part 4. When a shutter button 10 is pressed, the processing part 6 suspends shift operations of the image data stored in the holding part 3 to display a static image on the display part 4. Then, the processing part 6 enables selection of the image data by using a shift button 11, a return button 12 and a decision button 13 to record the selected image data into a data recording part 5. |
