PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical add/drop device applied to an optical fiber network that can easily recover a fault with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The optical add/drop device is applied to the optical fiber network. This device is provided on a cross point of a matrix and provided with a plurality of 2×2 switch elements (SE) that selects a bar state or a cross state. Ports connected to the optical fiber network are provided in the row direction of the matrix, and ports for add/drop are provided in the column direction of the matrix. |
