A plant watering need monitor is describe which includes a lever having a first end, a second end, and a fulcrum point from which the lever is suspended positioned between the first end and the second end. The lever has a first portion on a first side of the fulcrum point toward the first end and a second portion on a second side of the fulcrum point toward the second end. A plant support is supported by the first portion of the lever. A counterweight is supported by the second portion of the lever. The lever is pivotally movable about the fulcrum point. The lever assumes a first angular position when a plant on the plant support has been watered. The lever assumes a second angular position with the second portion drawn down by the counterweight and the first portion raised when the plant on the plant support is in need of watering. |
