PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating agent composition used for printing substrates which has optical brightening effect, improves the surface strengths of substrates such as paper, high speed coatability and gloss. SOLUTION: This coating agent composition contains (A) an anionic group-containing polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, (B) an optical brightener and (C) an inorganic pigment. It contains 1 pt.wt. anionic group-containing polyvinyl alcohol-based resin (A), 0.1-5 pts.wt. optical brightener (B) and 40-200 pts.wt. inorganic pigment (C). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
