PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a neutral detergent composition for hard surface having a moderate viscosity, which excels in detergency and foamability as a matter of course, excels in low temperature stability and in addition staining reattachment prevention, and is suitably used for washing tableware, cooking utensils, or the like with hands. SOLUTION: This neutral detergent composition for hard surface is characterized by containing (A) 5-20 mass% of a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate, (B) 2-10 mass% of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether, (C) 0.5-5 mass% of a fatty acid alkanol amide, and (D) water.
