PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an external preparation containing an adrenocorticosteroid medicine, which is not used for an occlusive dressing technique, has no greasiness, no adhesion to clothing, no loss in weight of a preparation by a physical factor and high protection of the affected part of the skin. SOLUTION: The coating film-forming type external preparation containing an adrenocorticosteroid medicine not useful for an occlusive dressing technique comprises an emulsion type adhesive component or a latex type adhesive component and water as its dispersion medium.
