PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which is easily assembled by a simple operation without using any adhesive, staple or adhesive tape, and capable of reliably maintaining engagement of flaps. SOLUTION: In the packaging box, projecting-shaped locking pieces 8 and 8 to be folded downwardly from folding lines 10 and 10 are cut out in a part of upper outer flaps 6 and 6, and projecting-shaped holding piece 9 and 9 to be folded downwardly from folding lines 13 and 13 are cut out in a part of upper inner flaps 7 and 7. When these locking pieces 8 and 8 and the holding pieces 9 and 9 overlap each other in the projecting shape when the upper inner flaps 7 and 7 overlap the upper outer flaps 6 and 6 on an upper surface of the box. Tip parts 11 and 11 of the locking pieces 8 and 8 are wide, base parts 14 and 14 of the holding pieces 9 and 9 are wider than the tip parts 11 and 11, tip parts 15 and 15 of the holding pieces 9 and 9 are wider than base parts 12 and 12 of the locking pieces 8 and 8, and narrower than the tip parts 11 and 11.
