PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a sheet-like image recording material, to prevent the sheet-like image recording material from being damaged accompanying breakage or the like of a bag, to protect the sheet-like image recording material from a stacked load, and to prevent the image recording suitability from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: In this cushioning sleeve, laminating plates 3 and 4 are continuously provided on both sides of a base sheet 1 through a side sheet 2, and corner receiving pieces 5 are provided on parts to be four corners through cuts cutting into the base sheet 1 and the laminating plates 3 and 4 from the side sheet 2, and folds in the width direction are provided on both ends and the middle of the corner receiving pieces 5. When the side sheets 2 are raised from the base sheet 1, and the laminating plates 3 and 4 are overlapped, the corner receiving pieces 5 are bent and projected inward. The sheet-like image recording material placed in a bag P is fixed by the corner receiving pieces 5 under a condition where the corner parts of the bag P are projected from gaps generated on the outside of the corner receiving pieces 5.
